Meeting of Committee
Miss Archibald presided at the monthly meeting of the Levin Memorial Home committee. There were also present Mrs. Luke, Mrs. 'Willoughby, Mrs. Stace, Mrs. Poole, Mrs. Meek, Mrs. Gillespie, and Misses Barry, McLeod, Morrah and Young. The matron reported that the inmates of the home were all in good health. Gifts received during the month were:—Mr. Yates, bones, weekly; Hawke’s Bay Fisheries, fish weekly; Mrs. Luke, tins of sweets; Mrs. Elliott, fruit and vegetables. Donations were received from Mrs. Henry Hall, Miss Mary Newton, Mrs. 11. Wardell, Miss Lindsay, Mrs. J. J. Reich, Mrs. Gordon Anderson, Mrs. Harold Edwards, Miss Denton, Mrs. Williamson, Mrs. Lewis and Miss Edwin.
