LISTS FOR NEXT WEEK

An excellent list of acceptances was received last night for the opening of th* Wellington Racing Club’s spring meeting next Thursday. The only surprise wa the non-acceptance of Seedmint in tne Wellington Handicap, but there are two other days if her connections have decided to come south for a race prwr to the New Zealand Cup. Gold ® another non-acceptor, but. she is likely to run later at the meeting. Fracas and Princess Doreen, two of the leading two-year-olds of last season, did not p y up in the Shorts Handicap, but their form last week was not up to expectations, ine best class of horse remains in all events, and the material is there for excellent racW An exceptionally pleasing response!
