Packet and newspaper mall closes an hour before the time of closing ordinary letter-mails:— SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14. Chatham Islands, per Tees from Lyttelton (Maori), 6 p.m.; C.P.O. late fee 6.45 p.m.; at ferry wharf 7.30 p.m. MONDAY, OCTOBER 16. Great Britain, Ireland and Europe, United States of America, Canada, Mexico.
