Operation of British Scheme

Although it has only been operating since October 6, the Milk Marketing Board, controlling the production and sale of Britain’s milk supply under the pooling system, announces that it has already contracted for the sale of all milk to be produced in Britain in the next six months. About a thousand million gallons a year will be bandied by the board when the scheme is in full operation, valued at between £59 and £6O millions.
