ANOTHER ARREST
Eastern Railway Trouble
SOVIET AND JAPAN Shanghai, October 10. Another Chinese Eastern Railway official has been arrested in the person of the assistant chief of a section, and charged with not obeying instructions, and with being connected with the evacuation of rolling stock to Siberia. Chinese bandits captured four White Russians near Muling, carried them off to Pogranichnaya, and handed them over to the Soviet frontier guards in exchange for twenty German rifles. It is expected that Manchukuo will again protest.
