N.Z. Officers Elected
The annual conference of the South African War Veterans’ Association of New Zealand concluded yesterday. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Sir Alfred Robin; president, Sir. J. I. Goldsmith; vice-presidents, Major P. E. de B. Brandon, Mr. G. ' Cresswell, Major J. G. Halpin, Messrs. E. Hogg, T. McWhirter, J. V. Scott, and 11. C. Thompson; committee, Lieut.Colonel D. C. Bates, Sergeant-Major Collins, Colonel F. B. Mabin, Messrs. J. Francis, D. Wilson, E, Hogg, H. Murdoch, and W. Milroy; treasurer, Captain C. F. Bishop; secretary, Mr. J. H. E. Tilling; hon. auditor, Mr. J. L. Arcus; hon. solicitor, Mr. W. Perry. The retiring president, Major P. E. de B. Brandon, was elected a life member, and given the gold badge of the New Zealand association.
