CONFIDENCE WEEK
Dance for Miss Craddock
Last evening at the Mayfair Cabaret the committee of the Transport and Power Princess, Miss Craddock, held a very successful and well-attended dance, from which may be predicted a growing interest in the National Confidence Carnival. The usual dance programme was pleasantly diversified. Mrs. Trott sang “Roses of Picardy,” and “Psalm of Love”; there were dancing demonstrations by Mr. and Mrs. Southern Colledge; selections by the Plki Periwhai Hawaiian Trio; and tickets for the “Back to Childhood Ball,” to be held shortly, were auctioned amid general merriment.
The Transport and Power committee is now well into the swing of its activities, and last evening’s effort will send the votes for Miss Craddock up considerably.
