BRIDGE PARTY

Scots College Pavilion Fund

A most successful bridge party, arranged by Mrs. S. E. Hill, was held at Mr. T. H. Hill’s house in Grant Road yesterday afternoon, for the Scots College Pavilion Fund. Bridge was played in the ballroom, which was decorated with Iceland poppies. A musical programme, contributed to by Mrs. Wood, Miss Black, Miss Harvey, Mrs. Wilfred Andrews, Mrs. Castle, Mrs. Carter, and Mrs. Vernon Sutherland, was enjoyed in the drawing room. A competition was won by Mrs. Whiteman, and Mrs. McLauchlan won the bridge prize. Among those present were:—Mesdames S. E. Hill, G. Forbes, F. Wader, J. Roberts, D. Olsen, R. Carter, J. G. Hill, C.
