Afternoon Tea Gathering

Mrs. Charles G. White, Selwyn Terrace, entertained the members of the provincial committee of the Mothers’ League at tea yesterday afternoon, when there were a number of country

delegates present. There were over 6C guests, among whom were Mrs. Sprott,

and Mrs. J. 8. Elliott, Dominion president of the league. Mrs. White was assisted by her daughter, Miss Mary White, her sister, Miss D. Ramsay, and her niece, Miss Margaret Patullo. During the afternoon opportunity was taken to present to Mrs'. White a bouquet of flowers in a graceful black vase, as an appreciation of her work for the league, of which she was provincial president for two years, and provincial secretary for two years after that.
