WOMEN’S HOCKEY
Representative Teams Tw» representative women’s hockey matches are to be played at the Winter Show ground, John St., next Wednesday afternoon between Wellington Maori A and B teams and Ohau and Manakau respectively. The Wellington selectors. Messrs. H. Tahiwi, R. J. Lloyd, and L. M. Murphy, have chosen the following teams to represent 'Wellington:— A Team.—Goal, Mrs. U. Parker (captain) ; full-backs, Mrs. 11. Walker. Miss J. Cantrick; half-backs, Misses R. Walker, E. Martin, H. Te Hiko; forwards, Misses W. Budge, W. Katene, L. Arthur, H. Wi Neera, E. Te Hiko. Emergencies: Misses 11. Gunson and B. Parata.
B Team.—Goal, Miss R. French; fullbacks, Misses T. McDonnell, N. Piwari; half-backs. Misses A. Wallace, F. Mitchell (captain), E. Wi Neera; forwards, Misses N. Stuart, H. Jones, It McDonnell, B. Wallace, D. Katene. Emergencies: Mesdames M. Pene and F. Ballard. Any player ava lable is to notify Mr. Murphy (’phone 44-020) as soon as possible. The A team will require to be at the Show Ground at 1.45 r-m. on Wednesday, the match with Ohan being timed to start at 2 o’clock. The Wellington B —Manakau match will commence at 3 o’clock, and Wellington players are to be' in attendance at 2,45 p.m. at the latest
