“LINEN” TEA

On Wednesday afternoon Mrs. C. Martin and Miss Eileen McCarthy gave n “linen” tea for Miss Mollie Rutter, whose marriage takes place to-day. The party was held at Miss McCarthy’s home on Kelburn Parade, and the rooms were decorated with a profusion of lovely spring flowers. Mrs. Martin wore a black and white figured ninon dress, and Miss Eileen McCarthy was in cornflour blue crinkle crepe. Miss Mollie Rutter, who was looking very smart in a navy costume and hnt with a stonemarten fur. received many beautiful and useful gifts for her linen cupboard.
