National Daffodil Society POINTS PRIZES AWARDED Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, September 14. The National Daffodil Show which opened at the Manawatu A. and P. Association’s showgrounds yesterday in conjunction with the Palmerston North Horticultural-Society's bulb show was concluded to-day. Yesterday there was a steady flow of visitors through the large entertainment hall at the afternoon and evening sessions. The. gate takings for the two sessions were £2O. The following poinls prizes have been allotted Open Class. —Narcissi (Mr. A. Hopwood’s trophy): W. E. Weighton (Feilding). Miscellaneous (Mr. R. Cousins’s trophy): J. Tantrym (Palmerston North). Amateur. —Trumpets and incomparabilis (Mr. J. G. Weightman’s prize): Mrs. A. O. Meyrick (Palmerston North). Barrli, Leedsii, and other blooms (Mr. W. B. Fauldlng’s prize) : Mrs. C. A. Leicester (Tangimoana). Other bulbs: Mrs. A. Seifert (Palmerston North). Single bloom narcissi class (Mr. A. W. Broadway’s prize) ; Mr. AC. Lennox (Opiki). Novice class (Messrs. A. J. Shailer and Sons’ prize) : Miss E. G. Brown (Feilding).
