Representative Rugby
Sir, —In this morning’s “Dominion” your Rugby football writer, “Poster,” gives a detailed list of representative matches played between. Wellington and Auckland and makes the total 51 games. Included in his list, however, is one game in 1922 which Auckland won by 54 to nil. This was not an official representative match, a scratch Wellington side being got together at Auckland’s special request, and it was agreed that this game would not count in the records. Mark Nicholls played for Auckland in this match and can confirm the above fact. Trusting that for the sake of accuracy you will correct this record.— am, <tC " A. H. CARMAN. Wellington, September 14.
