“CINDERELLA”

The pantomime "Cinderella’” which has been proclaimec the best seen here for years, will close its season this evening. Miss Josie -Melville is the Cinderella of every child’s dreams and looks radiantly beautiful when she drives to the Prince’s ball in a glorious coach drawn by real ponies. George Wallace, droller and funnier than ever, is seen as Buttons, and Syd. Bock, as the Dame, keeps the audience iu shrieks of laughter. “Whirl of the World.” Frank Neil's very colourful and sparkling revue, “Whirl of the World,” will have its premiere at the Grand Opera House to-morrow evening. The revue will be presented by the same band of artists who, for the past two weeks, have been delighting Wellington audiences in the spectacular pantomime, “Cinderella.” Hie company has been busy rehearsing for several days, and it is confidently expected that the new show will be everything that is expected of it. There will be numerous catchy songs and the popular Maurice Diamond ballet will be seen in a number of dancing specialties. George Wallace, Josie Melville, Syd Beck, Miriam Lester, Maida Jones, Billy Maloney mid all the favourites, including the Big .Four and the Five Cleveres, will present bright- contributions to the programme. Walton and Murray, the popular, danceduo. will also give specially items. Altogether. “Whirl of the World” should prove even more successful than “Cinderella” or any of the revues which Mr. Noil produced in Wellington a few months ago.
