Silver Found on Wanganella at Sydney TO BE RETURNED TO N.Z. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright (Received June 12, 8.5 p.m.) Sydney, June 12. Detectives who searched the steamer Wanganella immediately after her arrival from Wellington on Sunday discovered £3OO worth of silver in a parcel. The silver Is being returned to the Dominion under instructions from the New Zealand police. The Wanganella was delayed for about five hours prior to her departure from Wellington for Sydney on Thursday Inst while the police searched the vessel for silver which it was suspected was about to be taken out of New Zealand. About £7OO worth was recovered by the.searchers.
