French Sloop at Auckland
ILLNESS OF OFFICERS

Auckland, June 12.
Owing to the illness of two oflicers, the departure of tlie French sloop Savorgnan de Brazza has been postponed from to-day until 7 o clock tomorrow morning. t x The second-in-command, Lieutenant Lavale, was admitted to hospital today, and it is likely that he will not sail with the vessel. Commander Rosati to-day thanked the authorities and the public for the hospitality extended during two splendid weeks in Auckland.
