NOTES FROM MANAWATU Dominion Special Service. I’almei'oton North, June 12. A tribute to the late Mr. Frank Herbert Cooke, a well-known Palmerston North solicitor, who passed away on Saturday morning, was) paid by Mr. P. Grant and Mr. 11. R. Cooper, on behalf of the Palmerston North Law Society .when .the Magistrate's Court opened this morning. “I am sure that it will be come solace to the relatives to find in what affectionate regard he was held by his brother practitioners,” said Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M. “He has left behind him an example of honesty of purpose and integrity of character that may well be an inspiration not only to members of the legal profession but also to his fellow citizens.’ Ine court was adjourned for ten minutes out of respect for the late Mr. Cooke.
