WEEK-END GOLF

Masterton v. Greytown Dominion Special Service. Masterton, June 12. Playing on the Lansdowne links at the week-end, a team representing the Masterton Golf Club defeated, a visiting Grey town team by 17 games to 8, four games being halved. In the singles Masterton won 10. halved 2, and lost 0, and in the four-ball the home team won 7, halved 2, and lost none. Masterton Club Event On Saturday afternoon members of the Masterton Golf Club played a mixed foursome on the Lansdowne links. The June stroke handicap and the qualifying round for the club championship were played on the Hokowhitu links over th,* week-end by members of the Manawatu Golf Club.
