RELIEF OF DISTRESS
Care of Twenty Families ANONYMOUS BENEFACTOR By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, June 12. The fund being raised for the relief of distress in Christchurch by a committee of business men, has now reached £4868/5/7. An anonymous benefactor has undertaken to look after 20 families for the winter. The families, which were allotted to him by the secretary, include' 173 children.
