SHOP ROBBED
Watch and Meat Stolen PALMERSTON THEFT Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, June 12. The butchery shop of Mr. A. Toms, in Russell Street, was entered by burglars during the Week-end, and a cheque and watch and chain, estimated at a total value of £l5. was stolen. A quantity of meat was also stolen. Entry was gained to the building by the back door, which had an oldfashioned lock, and would offer little resistance.
