What Camera Reveals ABSENCE OF OXYGEN Vancouver. June 8. Proof that there is insufficient oxvgen in the bands around Mars to sustain life, such as we know it on earth, has been supplied tlrough the medium c infra-red photography, o Dr. W. S. Adams, of the Wilson Observatory, Pasadena, California, stated to the Science Congress. Dr. Adams added that recent developments of photography showed clearly that the oxygen content of the Mars bands was probably l‘ss than one-tenth of 1 per cent.

Dr. J. S. Plaskert, of Victoria, British Columbia, added that this had definitely set aside the idea of life on Mars as we know it on the earth.
