Cricketers at Funeral The funeral took place at the Karori Cemetery yesterday morning of Mr. William Henry Cook, who died at; his resilience, Carrington Street, on Wednesday. The last rites were performed by the Rev. Mr. Robertshaw, vicar of St. Mark’s, and the following were the pallbearers: —Messrs. P. Broad, R. F. Steele. A. M. Boilings, AV. P. Walker, and AV. J. R. Chvistopbersen (members of the AVellington Cricket Association's management committee), and A. L. Holloway (secretary of the Wellington Cricket Umpires’ Association). The deceased’s brother, Mr. John J. Cook, of Nelson, and other members of the family were the chief mourners, and among others present were Messrs. A. F. AVircn (vice-president) and A. Ararncy (secretary), of the AVellington Cricket Association, and AV. Toomatb, chairman of (lie Umpires’ Association.
