Figures for First Quarter (Received May 3, 7.10 p.m.). Moscow. May 3. Tlie Russian trade' returns for the first quarter of 1933 show that the purchases from England dropped 78 per cent, compared witli the same period of 1932. Sales to England only dropped 39 per cent. The total purchases from foreign countries dropped 52 per cent, and sales only 23 per cent.
