VALUABLE PEARLS STOLEN.
Pearls of great beauty, and diamonds, cut and uncut, valued at £12,00(1. disappeared from the pocket of Mr. Harold Klean, of Hatton Garden, when he was in Manchester recently, and are still missing. A description of them was circulated to all the police and pawnbrokers in the country. The police have yet to solve the mystery whether the jewels were lost or stolen. Mr. Klean is convinced that his pocket was picked. Jle left a shop in St. Ann Street at 3.45 after nutting the jewels, which were in a wallet, in the inside breast pocket of his coat. Twenty-live minutes later, on Victoria Station, he discovered the wallet was missing.
