NGA TAWA OLD GIRLS
Annual Zikwie at Feilding
The Feilding branch of the Ngn Tawa Old Girls’ Association recently held its annual dance in the Parish Hall at Feilding. The dance was a great success from every point of view, and old pupils attended in large numbers from every district. The committee, who. under the secretary, Miss Betty Gordon Eliott, carried out the arrangements, was as follows: Mesdames C. Fowler, scarlet georgette and velvet coatee; G. Monrad, black lace; G. E. Hassall, mauve organdie and purple sash : E. M. Meyrick, floral’ chiffon : 11. G. Hare, Nack floral georgette: Misses B. Gordon Eliott, cherry red velvet: M. Johnston, red satin; M. Rurtherford, blue satin ; N. Pratt, brown and parchment satin; M. Ross, black Ince; R. Swainson. blue and parchment floral angel skin ; Marea Bailey, beige lace; Macjorie Bailey, Persian red satin : R. Conway, purple panne velvet; P. Conway. lemon georgette: B. Hogg, pink angel-skin lace; M. Miles, lemon georgette. tango bridge coat; G. Kellow, turquoise taffeta; and E. Broad, white georgette and net. with ermine coatee. Miss Gwen Gibbs, wearing a tissue silver frock, and her partner, Mr. D. Ewing of Woodville, gave an exhibition of the tango.
