Mrs. I. C. Geddes, London, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. L. E. Matthews, Wellington, has been visiting Hamilton. Mrs. Wilson, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Peggy Unwin, Tiinaru. Miss A. H. Kedney, Wellington, is on a visit to Northern Hawke’s Bay. Mr. and Mrs. J. Fisher, Hataitai, are visiting Dunedin. Mrs. Farrington and Miss Joyce Farrington have returned to Wellington after a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. Stanton Harcourt, Hobson Street, has returned from Rotorua, where she spent some weeks. Mrs. J. E. Galbraith, Dunedin, is visiting Dellington, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. E. Le Oren, Hataitai. Mr. and Airs. O’Donei Davis and family, Christ’s College, Christchurch, will arrive in Wellington on Saturday. Mrs. J. E. Peach, Napier, who has been visiting Wellington, has gone to Auckland. Mrs. J. L. Pearce, Lower Hutt, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. C. R. White, Cumbrae Place, Wanganui. Mrs. E. G. Edwards, Kelburn, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Ralph Brown, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Miss Joan Percy, Masterton, who has been the guest of Miss Diana Waters, The Terrace, has returned home. Mrs. Edward Ollis, Sydney, who has been on an extended visit to Wellington to see her sister, will return by the Maunganui. Mrs. Malcolm Miller has returned from a trip to Australia and will go at the week-end to visit her mother, Mrs. Edgar Jones, at Timaru. 1 Miss Ivy Oliver, Pleasant Point, Canterbury, who has been staying with Mrs. Malcolm Miller, Wellington, has returned home. Miss Pamela Price, Gisborne, has returned to Christchurch from Wellington, and is staying with her aunt, Mrs. H. S. Lawrence, Fendalton. Miss Erica Westmacott and Miss Peggy Palmer-Chapman (Timaru), have come to Wellington en route to England. Among the guests at the Midland Hotel are Mrs. T. R. Dawe, Timaru; Mrs. W. H. Borham, Auckland; and Mrs. C. H. Wesley, Sydney. Miss James, who is at present staying with her brother, Canon Percival James, will leave shortly for Suva, where her marriage to the Rev. E. R. Elder, Vicar of Labasa, Fiji, will take place. Miss Hilda Miles, Hobson Street, will leave Wellington by the Monowai on May 18th. for Australia where she will join the Ormonde for a visit to Colombo and later will go further north.
