Waiwetu Competition The following is the draw for the first round of the Atkins Cup, to be played by the Waiwetu Golf Club by May 7 At top: Maitland v. Jillis, Allen v. Jameson, Lindop v. G. Hatfield, "Williamson v. J. Hatfield. • Next Saturday a fourball bogey will be played, players to arrange their own partners and opponents. Watt Cup Meeting Mr. P. C. Watt presided over a full meeting of delegates, representing the Shandon. Titahi, Manor Park,-"Waiwetu and Paekakariki Golf Clubs on Tuesday evening. Matters of interest pertaining to this year's Watt Cup competitions were discussed. The offer of the Shandon club to hold the annual combined field day on the Shandon links was accepted, the date to be finalised at the completion of the competitions. . The annual Watt Cup ball, at which the cup will be presented, will be held early in October. Mr. J. D. Barnard was re-elected bon. secretary and treasurer for the ensuing year. . . The rules governing the competition, as drawn up by the sub-committee, were adopted.
