END-OF-TERM CONCERT
St. Patrick’s, Silverstream —I No little musical and elocutionary talent was displayed at. the end-of-term concert at St. Patrick’s College. Silverstream. ou Tuesday evening, and the many visitors present were loud iu their praise of tiie entertainment provided by pupils of the college. The Silverstream College Symphony Orchestra, under the conductorship of the Rev. Father Feebly, played several numbers in a manner which bore evidence of the thoroughness of their training. Those present included: Mr. and Mrs. Palliser. Airs. AV. H. Stevens. Mr. Truda. Mrs. T. Campbell. Mr. P. Fleming, Miss E. Denuehy, Mrs. Fahy, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Collins, Misses Bourkc, Miss Patricia McEvedy, Mr. anri Mrs. M. Kennedy. Air. and Mrs. Cleavy, Mr. and Airs. Versehaffelt. Air. and Airs. Callaghan, Dr. and Airs. F. AV. Kemp, the Alisses Nathan, Dr. and Airs. It. O’Regan. Airs. Aloir, Air. and Airs. Gifford. Rev. Father Kelly, Air. aud Mrs. Levin, Air. aud Airs. Neighbours, Air. and Airs. Webberley, Air. josland. Miss L. Baker, and Air. and Airs. A. Collins. The programme was as follows: “Light. Cavalry” Overture (Suppe). the orchestra; “Jingle Bells” (Pierpont), choir and orchestra; recitation, “Young Fellow, Aly Lad,” E. Luke; piano solo, “To the Spring.” AV. Johnston: “Pilgrims’ Chorus” (Wagner), choir and orchestra; humorous medley, “The Musical Barber,” T. Cook; “Old and New,” the orchestra; “Poet and Peasant” Overture (Suppe), the orchestra; playette. “The Lion Tamer,” E. Fidler, A. AlcKay, and F. AlcA'crry: piano solo, “Rhapsody Alignonne,” O. Creed; “A Little Gleam of Suu” (Drummond), sopranos; recitation, “If Life Were a Play,” E. Luke; “Tales of the Vienna Woods” (Strauss), the orchestra; “Be Happy” (Drummond), the choir; “Stars of the Summer Night” (Drummond), choir and orchestra.
