England and India onicial Wireless. Rugby. May .1. The Secretary for India. Sir Samuel Hoare, inaugurated to-day a new telephone service from England to India by talking with Sir Frederick Sykes. Governor of Bombay. Sir Samuel Hoare expressed the view that the most dangerous enemies to Anglo-Indian relations were ignorance and misunderstanding. Their power would be greatly diminished by the spoken voice.
