Factory Managers Confer WORK AT MASSEY COLLEGE Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, May 2. Fifty dairy factory managers from all parts of the Dominion are at present holding their second annual conference at Massey Agricultural College. The managers are taking a week’s course at the college in order to keep in touch with the research work which has been, and is being, carried out at the college. Last year there were 50 factory managers who took the week’s course. For this year’s course 74 applications were received, but the college authorities had to limit the number to 50 as the staff could not deal with a greater number with convenience. A portion of the week’s course is being devoted to work in the laboratories. Proleins affecting butter and cheese are being discussed, and demonstrations are being held in the laboratories.
