Fellowship Fund for Graduates The monthly meeting of Hie AVellington Association of Hie New Zealand Federation of University AVomen was held on Alonday evening. Miss I. AVilson was in Hie*hair in Ihe absence of the president, Aliss Batham. Airs. Alarshall AlacDonald, an honorary member of the Otago association, has transferred to AVellington, and Aliss Gibb, a AVellington graduate, was welcomed as a new member. Dr. Campbell Begg, Alajor and Airs. J. R. A’. Shei'ston, and Mrs. Allan were quests of the association. Aliss AVilson explained the object of the Fellowship Fund, and urged members to do a-Jl in their power to increase the fund. Fellowships would l>e available for (a) a New Zealand graduate to carry on research work in New Zealand: (b) a New Zealand graduate to do research work abroad; (c) an overseas graduate to do research work in New Zealand: the New Zealand excentivo to have the power of deciding which Fellowship should be available in any year. Tlie object of the fund was, therefore, to provide Fellowships for women for postgraduate research in some branch of study that would be of practical benefit to New Zealand.

Dr. ('ampbell Begg spoke on Hie aims of tlie New Zealand Legion, and announced Hie questions of members concerning its objects. Mrs. Coghlan proposed a vote of thunks to the speaker for his address. Alembers then adjourned to Hie supper-room for coffee.

The next meeting will be held early in June, when the graduates of tlie year will be entertained.
