Miss Mina Caldow, Auckland, who has been visiting Wanganui, has arrived in Wellington, and is the guest of Mrs. AV. E. Caldow, Rongotai. Mr. and Mrs. G. Chapman-France, England, who have been tonring in the south, will return to Wellington this week. Among the guests at the Midland Hotel are Mrs. G. Watson and Miss 11. W. Meaney, Sydney; and Mrs. A. H. Henderson, Java. Mrs. Maxwell Turner, Wellington, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. Wait, in Christchurch, has returned home. Mrs. Ronald Reid, of Wellington, who has been staying at I’atea, is now the guest of Mrs. R. D. Tosswill, St. John's Hill, Wanganui. Miss Helen Whyte, Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs. Harold Barker, Fendalton, is now staying with Miss Maberley Beadel, Merivale Lane, Christchurch. Mrs. N. B. Gibbons, accompanied by Miss J. Brodie, of Lower Hutt, who has been visiting Wanganui, during which time she motored to Kakatahi to visit her brothers, has returned to Wellington. Professor and Mrs. F. P. Wilson, of Wellington, who have been spending a holiday with relatives in Palmerston North, gone on to Havelock North to visit Mr. and Mrs. R. St. Lawrence.
