Since September last Hiere has been a gradual diminution in the volume of laiilup tonnage in the port of Hamburg. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that the Alnimoa left London on Sunday morning for Suva. Dunedin, Lyttelton, Timaru and New Plymouth. She is due at Suva on Juue 6 and at Dunedin on June 13. THE PORT VICTOR. The C. -and D. Line advises that the Port A’ictor was to have left. London in ballast yesterday for New Zealand via the Cape of Good Hope. She is due in New Zealand on June 20 to load Homewards. AVAIPAIH AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s steamer AVaipahi is now due at Auckland this morning. with fruit from Samoa, Tonga, aud Fiji. LYTTELTON BUOY LIGHT OUT. The light on the Harbour Board's whistling and flashing buoy off the Lyttelton Heads- is not functioning. The buoy is now due for annual overhaul and may be taken in for that purpose within a day or two. Otherwise the light will be relighted. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. Captain Coldieutt has resumed command of the Awahou after holidays. Captain R. Huntley is proceeding ro Sydney by the Alaunganui to-day for further orders. Air. A. J. McKenzie, late third officer of thc AVahine, has joined the Alaunganui in a similar capacity, relieving Air. J. E. Broughton while he is on holidays. Air. F. A. Reay. has joined the Alaunganui as fourth officer, relieving Air. 11. J. I’etty. who is awaiting instructions. Air. J. N. Collins is at present fourth engineer of the Moiiowai. Air. L. K. AlcMurroek has joined the Monowai as chief engineer, relieving Air. N. McCaig for holidays. Captain J. The Alarine Department advises that the following non-existent buoys in Tauranga Harbour are to be expunged from the charts;—Black buoy with topmark, OlOdeg. 580 yards from Sulphur Point Spit; red buoy, OoOdcg. 160 yards from Sulphur Point Spit; red buoy, Iflfjdeg. 370 yards from Stony Point beacon. The llount Railway AVbarf, about four cables from Pilot's Bay, and a small wharf about three cables and a half southward of it, have been demolished aud are to be expunged. AVIIAKATANE SIGNAL STATION. The Marine Department advises that the signal station near AVbakatane entrance. lat. 37dcg. 57spe. S.. long. 177 deg. Olsee. E. (approx.), will be discontinued on April 30, mid will be dismantled at a later date.
