DEATH OF GIRL
Man and Woman Charged By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. May 2. Robert William Campbell and his wife. Mary Campbell, aged 39. were charged in the Police Court yesterday with unlawfully using an instrument upon a young woman. They were remanded. Bail for the woman accused was fixed at £5OO. When bail for the man was sought to-day. the police said that the girl concerned died about a week ago in Taumarnnui. The magistrate refused to grant bail.
