Self Portrait Purchased for Melbourne FELTON BEQUEST FUND By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received May 1, 9.50 p.m.) Melb°urne, May 1. Under the Felton bequest, the Melbourne National Gallery has purchased the Rembrandt self-portrait of 1660 from the Duke of Portland’s collection for £26,875 in Australian currency. This price is the second highest paid by the Felton bequest, the highest being £31,500 for Van Eyck’s “Madonna and Child.”
