The Treaty will include facilities for British air routes, preference for British subjects in economic concessions. and a Persian . commercial treaty giving preferential treatment to British and Indian trade. The Teheran correspondent of “The Times” states that Persian newspapers declare that the Anglo-Persian agreement cancels the former 16 per cent, basis royalty in favour of 4/- a ton on oil extracted, with a payment of two millions in gold against outstanding claims nnd last year’s royalty. The Anglo-Persian Company’s concession has been extended for thirty years.
