HOSPITAL BY-LAWS
Sanction Not Withheld
In regard to the published reference that the Minister of Health, Hon. J. A. Young, had refused to sanction the amended by-laws of the Wellington Hospital Board, Mr. F. Castle, chairman of the board, states that this was wholly inaccurate. “The Minister Ims not declined to sanction the by-laws.” said Mr. Castle. “All that he asks is for time for furflier consideration of the proposals embodied in the by-laws. Thai has been conveyed in a letter to the board from the iiireetor-Generai of Health. Dr. M. 11. Watt.” Mr. Castle exhibited the letter in proof of his assertion.
