SEARCH FOR “LOST” OASIS. Lady Clayton, widow of Sir Robert Clayton East Clayton, the explorer, left Hanworth Aerodrome recently on the first stage of a search by aeroplane for the “lost” oasis, Zerzura, in the Libyan Desert. Her reserve pilot is Lieut.-Com-mander Raundall. The late Sir Robert made an unsuccessful attempt to find the “lost” oasis last year shortly after his marriage. He made the journey by aeroplane ami motor-car, but returned without reaching his goal.
