MILKMEN’S UNIFORMS
Inspection as to Quality At yesterday’s special meeting of the City Council, the town clerk, Mr. E. P. Norman, was given authority to open the tenders for the milk department's roundsmen’s uniforms, and report thereon at the council meeting to be held on May 22. Cr. J. MeEldowney said that when uniforms were discussed, at the City Council last, year, it was decided that Or. Duncan (as one in the trade) should be asked to examine and report, on the material aud workmanship offered before any tender was accepted. Cr. E. Meadowcroft: Well, that is all right. This is only to open the tenders. After that Cr. Duncan can act. “If he comes back to the table, no doubt,” said the Mayor. “Whether he comes back to the table or not,” said Cr. H. A. Huggins. “He would be a good man to get to examine the cloth for the uniforms.” The matter was then allowed to drop,
