COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
A coming-of-age party was tendered Miss Phyllis Hearsey at Takaro Hail, Palmersbon North, recently. The guests were received by Mrs. Hearsey, who wore a frock of cerise-coloured georgette over satin, ■with trimmings to tone. A “Monte Carlo” dance was won by Miss V. Peters and Mr. H. McKay, and a “lucky spot” by Mr. Paton and Mr. I. Carruthers. Miss Hearsey was presented with a large gold key, which later had the names of Hie guests inscribed upon it.
