A Final Played in Wellington In the New Zealand University tournament hold at Auckland at Easter, both Victoria College pairs won through to the final in the women’s doubles tennis ehampionship. The final was commenced on Tuesday, April IS, at Auckland, but, with the score at set-all, the light tailed, and it was decided to replay the match later in Wellington. The event was finally decided on the Victoria College courts over I lie last week-end. Misses M. JI. Line and L. U. Longmore defeating Misses T. R. Gill and S. S. Fhillipps, 6-3. 10-8. Misses Lino and Longmore therefore retain the New Zealand University women’s doubles title which they won in Wellington in 1932.
