MR. ARCHIBALD WALKER (Marine Surveyor and Average Adjuster) is a contestant for the vacancy on the Wellington Harbour Board as a representative of the Hutt Electorate. MR. WALKER is at present representing the Borough of Eastbourne on the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board; a Councillor of Eastbourne; also Chairman of the Hutt Park Committee. TO ELECTORS. A large number of my supporters in the Electorate have asked me to contest this seat. An invitation was extended me by the retiring member, Mr. MeEwan, to speak at. his meeting at I’etone. which, in itself, is a testimonial of merit, I. having been associated with him for eight years on the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board. I am able to say my long service as Marine Surveyor and Salvage Expert will enable me to- give good service to the Wellington Harbour Board, and I am sure the electors, if they return me, will always find me easy of approach on all matters.
