Union Cargo Service The following are (lie movements of Union Company ve.-sels engaged in its intercolonial cargo .service:— Tiie Kalingo is n> load nt Newcastle I to-day for Auckland, Napier and Wellington. Tin- Karepo, from Newcastle, .arrived at. 'Wellington on Saturday, and berthed at the King's Wharf. She is to move today to the Miramar Wharf. The Karetu, from Auckland, is due at Newcastle on Wednesday, thence 'o Sydney, to complete loading for Fiji and Auckland. The Kartigi is to leave Greymouth about Wednesday for Melbourne, thence to Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne, to load for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. 'The Waikouaiti, from Newcastle ami Sydney, is to leave Dunedin to-day for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. She will then return via Bluff to Svdncy and Newcastle. The Wainui, from Melbourne, is due at Bluff to-day. thence to Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington io complete discharge. She is due here next Thursday, and will leave again t'he following day for Melbourne, via Bluff. Port Hunter Reports The C. and D. Line has received a wireless message from the Port: Hunter, on route from Glasgow and Liverpool, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at 5 a.m. to-day. She will later proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and Tiniaru to complete discharge, and is due here on Thursday. MATAKOA SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the Shaw. Savill liner Mntaroa left Wellington on Saturday morning for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. C U AIDE KLA ND REPO RTS. The Federal Company has received a wireless message from the Cumberland, in ballast from London, reporting that she expects to reach Opua on May 14 to commence her Homeward loading. RUAHINE LEAVES SUVA. Cabled advice has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine, en route from London, left Suva on Saturday for Wellington, Port Chalmers and Lyttelton. She is due here on Wednesday or Thursday. ’ J .-IE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Challenger is reported to have left Quebec on April 27 for Brisbane. Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about June 18. TANKER O. A. KNUDSEN. The Union Company advises that its chartered motor-tanker O. A. Knudsen was to have loft San Pedro yesterday wi'th bulk oil for Wellington. She is due here on May 21. WAIKAWA IN PORT. To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo, the Union Company’s IVaikftwii arrived at Wclliugtoii last night from Auckland, and berthed at No. 1 north Queen’s Wharf. She is to leave here again to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia to complete discharge. TANKER PEGASUS. Running under charter to the Gilmore Oil Company, the Norwegian motor-tank-er Pegasus is due nt Wellington to-day from Auckland, and will berth at the Point Howard Wharf to discharge bnlk molor-spirit from San Francisco. In ballast from London, the Shaw, Savill steamer Mahia reached New Ilymouth yesterday to commence her Homeward loading. She is due at M ellington on Wednesday for further loading, and will leave again next Saturday tor Gishome and Auckland to fill up. *lhe 31ahia is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on May 15 for London via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Teneriffe. Having completed her Homeward loading to the agency of the Federal Company the New Zealand Shipping Company s motor-ship Otaio left Wellington at 7 a.m. on Saturday for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Captain C. M. Andrews is in command of the Shaw. Savill steamer Mahia, which reached New Plymouth yesterday from London. THE GOLDEN EAGLE. To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo, the A. and A. Line steamer Golden Eagle is due at Wellington late this afternoon from Auckland, and wm berth at the Pipitoa Wharf. The Union Company’s liner Monowai. from Melbourne and Sydney, is due at Wellington this afternoon, though no wireless message was received from her yesterday. The Monowai is to leave here again at 6 p.m. to-morrow for Auckland, thence on Friday to Sydney. MAUNGANUI DUE 6 A.M. DUE. En route from San Francisco to M ellington via Papeete and Rarotonga, the Union Company's R.M.S. Maunganui has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o cloek tins morning.
