Better Class of Men Coming

SEASON OPENS THIS MONTH

The annual meeting of the Wellington Wrestling Association was held on Friday evening. The president, Mr. 11. I). Bennett, presided over a full attendance.

Another four, lie said, were booked to leave San Francisco by the Makura on May 10, though the final selection could not be made for a day or so. Matches booked already wcr£ Blake v. Walker, at Auckland on Monday, May 8, and probably Hall v. Paterson at Wellington on Tuesday, May 9. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr, C. J. B. Norwood; president, Mr. H. D. Bennett; vice-presidents, all re-elected. Executive committee, Messrs. E. Lynneberg, J. Creeke, J. D. Willis, J. 11. Thompson, A. Nancarrow, A. Pope, J. 11.
