Miss E. Baber, Silverstream, Is on a visit to Hawke’s Bay. Mrs. Ostler, Talavera Terrace, will leave to-day for a visit to Tokaanu. Mr. and Mrs. J. Fisher, Ilataltai, Wellington, are visiting Dunedin. General Sinclair-Burgess and Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Turner are Wellington visitors at Foster’s Hotel, Wanganui. Miss L. O. Turner, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is at the Central Hotel. The Hon. G. J. Smith and Mrs. I Smith, Christchurch, are at present in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. J. Jennings and Miss Hetherton, of Wellington, are guests at the Rutland Hotel. Wanganui. Mrs. H. Thorpe, Putaruru, is visiting Wellington and is staying with Mrs. G. Laird, Marshall Street, Karori. Mrs. J. B. McEwan, who has been on a holiday to Auckland, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. J. W. Carr and Miss Valerie Carr have returned to Wellington after a few weeks’ visit to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Tosswill, Christchurch, left Wellington yesterday by the Mataroa for England. Miss C. Fisher, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. Brand, Scotland, is the guest of Mrs. A. A. Stichbury, Kelburn, for a few days. Miss Mina Caldow is visiting Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. W. J. Robinson, Gily Street. Mrs. C. J. Phillips, of Auckland, Is a visitor to Wellington, and is staying at the Hotel St. George. ' The Misses F. and J. Ryan, Boulcott Street, returned yesterday from Wanganui, where they have spent some weeks. Mrs. M. Macdonald, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, where she is the guest of Mrs. H. Y. Cameron, Remuera Road. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Groves, Feilding, are spending the week-end as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Watts, of Johnsonville. Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Turner, Miss R. Ward, and Miss O. Jacobson, of Wellington, are guests at Foster’s Hotel, Wanganui. Sir Cecil and Lady Day, Government House, will leave early next week by the Limited for Auckland, where they will go into residence for several months.
