Lemon Juice, Coconut Oil When you want your hair to look specially nice, rub a little coconut oil into it, then cover your hair brush with an old silk hadkrechief and polish it—the hair —for five minutes.
If for any reason you object to lipsalve, remember that both lemon juice and eau-de-Cologue bring a temporary blush to the lips. All you have to do is to moisten the lips and then massage the liquid into the skin with the tips of the fingers. Weather-beaten necks and faces should be treated with benzoated almond oil each night. Allow ten drops of simple tincture of benzoin to au ounce of oil.
Colourless iodine vaseline is quite as effective as ordinary iodine when the trouble is chilblains or enlarged joints, and being colourless, it does not stain the? skin. lodine must not be used near broken chilblains, though.
