Q.E.D. TESTED RECIPE
(By M.F.C.) CREAM SPONGE Two large eggs, 1-3 breakfast cup of sugar, 2-3 breakfast cup flour, 1 teaspoonful baking powder. Method.—Beat sugar and eggs well (40v whisks of beater give excellent results), sift flour and baking powder together, fold in quickly—bake in greased sandwich tins for about eight minutes in moderate oven. When cold, spread with raspberry jam and a thick layer of Q.E.D. cream. Where Q.E.D. cream is mentioned tor fillings, best results are obtained when the cream is made and set overnight (use without mixing).—P.B.A. “Output” ten million tins of "CO” Waxshine Lino.
