HONORARY JUSTICES
Wellington Association ANNUAL MEETING HELD The consensus of opinion of members of the Honorary Justices’ Association for Wellington and district at the annual meeting in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute last evening was that the executive were to be congratulated upon the satisfactory manner in which it had steered the association 'through the past year, considering the trying times. Mr. A. Longmore presided over an attendance of some forty members. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, the Chief Justice Kight Hon. Sir Michael Myers (re-elected); vicepresidents, the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T C A. Hislop, Mr. E. Page. b.M., and Mr. W. G. Riddell (all re-elected); members of council, Messrs. S. E. Lambert, H H. Price, aud H. H. Seaton; hou. solicitors, Messrs. Salek, Turner and Brown (re-elected); hon. auditor, Mr. A. M Anderson (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr. H. W. Lloyd (re-elected); hon. registrar, Mr. J. L. Arcus (re-elected). An honorarium .of 25 guineas was voted to the hon. registrar for his valuable services during the past year. Mr. J. I. Goldsmith gave notice thal he would move at the next meeting that the annual subscription be reduced from 10/- to 5/-.
