RIFLE-SHOOTING
H.B. Teams Shield
Dominion Special Service. Waipukurau, Feb. 2.
During next week-end, on the Mount Vernon range, 'Waipukurau, the annual shoot for the Hawke’s Bay Rifle Club's champion team's shield will be held. The shield is at. present held by the Napier Defence Rifle Club. The conditions are seven shots and two sighters over 300, 500 and 600 yards for teams of five men.
The following elubs have already entered: Napier (two teams), Takapau (2). Poporangi (2). Waipukurau (2), Taradale (1), and further entries are expected Okawa, Danncvirkc, aud Waikopiro clubs.
Waipukurau will be represented by the following:—Team No. 1: Dep.-Pres. W. G. Bryce. E. T. Haldane, F. Fryer. L. W. Bishop. F. N. McVicar. No. 2 team: J. R. Atkins. J. Granger, S. Booth, J. Raymond, and 11. Russell.
