Mrs. Meynard and Miss Betty Maynard returned to New Zealand on Tuesday, after spending a year in England. Mrs. C. S. Gibbs, Christchurch, will arrive on Sunday on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. W. L. Foster and Miss C. Foster, of Wellington, are at present in Christchurch. Miss Mary Maclean, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. W. S. Miss AlcVay, Napier, who is with Mrs. Graham Robertson, Hobson Street, will go to-day to stay with Mrs. A. V. Allen, Burnell Avenue. Mr. and' Mrs. J. A. Macleod, Hawkestone Terrace, will leave to-morrow on a few weeks’ motoring trip to Gisborne and the north. Mr. and Mrs. A. Longmore and family, Brougham Street, will return on Monday from their seaside cottage at Rona Bay. Miss Mabel Hay, matron of the Te Kuitl Public Hospital, who was with Mrs. F. Al. Reid, Karori, has gone to Dunedin to stay with Mrs. Henry Reid, Mornington. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ward, who have been the guests of Mrs. W. L. Ward, Molesworth Street, are leaving on Monday for Auckland, to travel by the Aorangi for Honolulu, where they will break their journey before going to their home in America.
